SUMMITS/WORKSHOPS

The objective of the first STEMStart Innovation Summit was to obtain critical student input while developing solutions to close the STEM gap that the nation is facing. Our target audience is local elementary, middle, and Title One schools. We aid in developing STEM fluency by providing opportunities in different STEM settings.
Student will attend yearly STEMStart Innovation Summits, where they actively participate and develop innovative solutions that are planned to be launched by partnering with schools and organizations. Students join STEMStart as STEM leaders – mentors and coaches in helping close the STEM gap by volunteering to run various programs that are offered by STEMStart.
Students participate in 2-4 hrs long STEM Skills Workshops for high school students to network with local, state, and national STEM leaders, learn STEM Resume building skills, master tricks to ace STEM internships and job interviews, sharpen problem solving techniques, and get college counselling help.
