STEM Hour Initiative

LCPS PRCS and STEMStart Collaboration 

                                   Free STEM workshops  for LCPS Elementary School Students

STEMStart, a student-led non-profit, is conducting STEM Hour workshops for Loudoun county Elementary School Students in collaboration with Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Park, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) CASA Program for the school year of 2021-22  CASA is a licensed, after-school program for elementary school students (K-5) that provides a safe, fun environment for children of working parents. The activities are designed to enhance academics, recreation, behavior, social and physical skills. 

STEMStart High School Volunteers will conduct the STEM Hour based on requests from Elementary Schools and requests coming through LCPS  requests along with LCPC PRCS requests.
